KID ’ S CLUB

Sunday, November 10 ^th
5:30-7:30
Age 3- Completing Grade 6
Recreation, Snacks, Bible Time, Games/Crafts

This year our Kid’s Club will be going on a TREASURE HUNT!  The Bible is the treasure and we will be searching for TREASURES in it!  Kid’s Club is for all kids age 3- grade 6. We hope you will invite kids in your area to come!  

We will be starting our “ Adopt a Child” for Kid’s Club.  We are hoping you will take a child (or two) and pray for them and their family every day.  We want the kids and families to trust Christ, so let’s join together and really pray!

As always, bring $$$ for anything you might want to buy.
Attend Sunday School (9:30am) and Worship (10:45am) Sunday, November 24 ^th to get your ticket to take the ADVENTURE of the month that will begin right after Worship!

LOTTIE MOON

Don’t forget to be putting money aside for the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for our International Missionaries. “ Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us y our generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.”   2 Corinthians 9:10-11.

Extended Session Thank You

We want to give a huge shout out to all our extended session volunteers!!  These volunteers are not just “ babysitting” but are caring for our precious children with the love of Jesus.  From the time they are little they are learning that church is a good place to be and that they are loved!  Our 3-5 year olds have a good curriculum and it is an extension of our Sunday School time.

I (Cathy) am on a Facebook Group with others that find workers for their children in various churches.  I have come to realize that we are blessed as our workers are so faithful.  They remember their turn and take serving in this capacity seriously.  I hope you will say a special thanks to them.  They are doing an awesome work so moms and dads can sit in the service and really worship. Thank you to each of them for giving to the Lord.

BACKGROUND CHECKS

We are asking that each person that serves in our preschool, children ’ s or youth ministries have a current background check.  This is to meet the needs of our agreement with our insurance company.  This applies to anybody that teaches in preschool/children/youth Sunday School, Extended Session, Kid ’ s Club, Bible School, Camp, and Youth Ministry.   It is for the good of everyone involved.  We are just in the beginning phase of getting this set up and will let you know more details when we have the method in place.  The church will be covering the cost of these checks.

DECK THE HALLS

Bring your favorite “ brunch” snack to share and come help us “ Deck the Halls” for Christmas!  We will meet at church on Saturday, December 7, at 9am for this fun time of fellowship and working together.  We will be putting up the tree and Christmas decorations.  We might do some Christmas cleaning as we will be having several events during December.  There is a lot going on in December that we need to get ready for!  Please come and help!

CHRISTMAS EVE

Join us on December 24 at 5pm for a family Christmas Eve Service.  Christmas is a time when we gather with our biological families but is a good time to celebrate with our spiritual family!  We hope you will join us for this special service.
